Letter to Peter

This is a draft that must go out Monday the 7th.

Hi Peter,

Hope all is well in the lab. I imagine you and Cole are celebrating great successes with a nice glass of wine! Once again, I wanted to tell you what a great experience being part of your team was. You have opened a whole new world for me and really become an inspiration moving forward with my architectural aspirations. I don’t know if that means I am becoming a Macapia-nite? I was going over files as I am preparing for graduate school and came across a version of the digital model for the tower and wanted to make sure you had it.

There are a few questions I also wanted to ask when you have a chance:

Do you know of way I can purchase or acquire a copy of the morphogenesis program by Solid Thinking?

And finally, I as I am preparing to move forward in my education may I trouble you for any kind words you may place in a letter of recommendation? If you could be so kind as to print multiple copies (5) it would be extremely appreciated. Some of the schools I am applying to need a letter from an employer…I told them you are BOSS!

*Please keep in mind that the portfolio needs to be updated as soon as I get free. My work for you will be highlighted in a new format.

Thank you for everything and all my best to the team,

P.S. I hope to have an opportunity to visit with you and Cole next time I am in NYC…possibly this winter. Attached is a Sci-Arc letter form.

Letters for Recommendation

Dear Professor X,

As a refresher I was a student in your XXX class in TERM00 earning an A for the quarter. As we are moving forward to graduate school, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your commitment and the privilege of learning from you in these formative years; the material was a great marriage of fun and foundation! SOMETHING PERSONAL.

I was wondering if I may trouble you for any kind words you may place in a letter of recommendation? I feel your seal of approval would go a great ways in championing my cause to further my education. I would also like to stop by and visit during office hours for a brief chat…as well as pick up/drop off any necessary postage. If you could be so kind as to print multiple copies (5) it would be extremely appreciated. I have enclosed a link to my resume and portfolio to give you a barometer of my passion for the field and its progression. Once again, thank you for your time and consideration.
